To wordfish: Lazy way of playing Wordtrotter? Nah, I really don't think so. Luv that so-called no-brainer play...totally works for me when I don't know the word.
The game is totally cool and fun and you get to learn new words no matter how you play it. Gil said on Facebook...it's the magic of Wordtrotter. That's coming from the creator himself.
Thanks for the advice. But I'll play it like how your students are surely playing it when no one's looking--no brainer play. And that's my two cents about it.

To coolchick18 and raygunner22: So you know what my students call "no-brainer play" too? I strongly discourage them from this lazy way of playing the game. I want them to solve the puzzle. Analyze. Develop strategies. I want them to enjoy Wordtrotter as designed by the creator and reap its vocabulary building benefits. It is already delightful to play as it is. Yes, the lazy and "no-brainer" system makes Wordtrotter a bit easier to play but it consequently weakens the game's inherent vocabulary building attribute. I think even Gil De Palma will agree with me on this. Just putting in my two pennies worth, folks.

I think the game would run much better if you increase your ram to 1gb also the game is not that much dependent on the video card although it could enhance the graphics.
for the sound, just wait for future enhancements.

in the N-hood, the background music was changed(that's good)
Suggestion: try to make it more appropriate to the mood or theme of the scene/level.
i noticed that the background music keeps on playing every after i win the round..would it be nice if you put some (CHADANNN!!! or YEHEY/applause!!) sounds.
the game still is very cool..godbless
